and production services at affordable rates.
I utilize high quality samples and modeling software along with high-end analogue gear to achieve a sound rivaling that of million dollar facilities, which the average musician would never be able to afford. I've spent several years amassing a library of drum, piano and orchestral samples (recorded at the best studios) that can be triggered by either V-Drums or a midi keyboard. This makes it possible to track an entire band without needing to isolate each performer and worrying about mike bleeds, phasing etc., only to focus on everyone getting the best possible live performance. Another major advantage of using midi, which always amazes my clients, is it's unparalleled versatility and editing capability. Adjustments can be made immediately during or post production, without hassle, and there's never an issue of getting a "bad" drum or piano sound. My experience in working with the conventional miking methods was the amount of precious time and money it took in trying to get a perfect drum track only to tediously fix it later in the mix. The ideal situation is for us to spend our time with the creative process and not to be preoccupied with the miking of a snare.
